 The Frame
Structual integrity begins with the frame.
Our frames are built using quality seasoned Danish Beech hardwoods, from managed renewable sources. Occasionally we may use other timbers on some designs which require intricate curves or shapes. Joints are dowelled, glued and power screwed for strength and durability.
 The Foams & Fillings
Safety is as important as comfort when it comes to upholstery, that's why we only use the finest quality foams and fillings in our Prestige hand made range. The foams used are fire retardant CMHR (Combustion Modifeld High Resilliant), and meet the appropriate British Fire Safety Standard. Our quality fibre fillings are sourced from leading suppliers.
 Seating & Suspension
Depending on the type of suspension required we use either an elastabelt strap webbing system or serpentine or zig-zag (no sag) springs.
Each spring has been individually heat treated to ensure maximum support and total comfort. All springs are tested to industry standards.

 Leather & Fabrics
Only the finest leather is used in our Prestige range. Each hide is selected and hand cut using templates. All leather used by Centurion has been produced to the relevant European upholstery hide standards.

We proudly create all our hand made upholstered furniture in our workshops by highly skilled, knowledgable craftsmen and are dedcated to old-fashioned traditional furniture making techniques.
All our fine leather pieces are designed and built for you to enjoy for many years.
The raw materials used are the best possible as we pride ourselves on the quality of our furniture and our standards are high.
We are not only leather experts, all our designs can be made in fabric too! we use the latest fabrics from leading UK suppliers. There is a huge choice, far too many to list them all on our website.
